Right to Healing Resources

April has become something of a ritualistic blossoming for us here at Peaks of Colour.

It’s the month we emerge from our annual hibernation. It marks the anniversary of the Kinder Mass Trespass which took place in our beloved Peak District in 1932. Earth Day takes place later in the month. And, it is one year on from the first of a series of ‘Right to Healing’ walkshops we held in collaboration with Nadia Shaikh, of the present day Right to Roam campaign.

Below you will find a non-exhaustive list of resources which compile contributions from both facilitators and participants during each session.

As we bare witness to the the ongoing genocide in Palestine, and the atrocities taking place in Congo, Haiti and beyond, how we look after ourselves, each other and our environments has never been more important. It is how we continue fighting towards a liberated future.

We share these resources now, in the hopes that they can support our wider community through the individual and collective journeys of grief, embodiment and nature connection which necessitate our freedom.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on last years exploration of healing. We look forward to seeing you again this year for our upcoming walkshops which we will be announcing soon.
